I looked through all of our pics from the first few days and kept coming back to this one. Eventhough I look horrible (understandably since I had just pushed out a 10+lb baby) I was feeling so much joy at this moment, it was the first time I saw/held my baby boy.

The day we came home from the hospital. I'm conflicted when I see this because on the one hand, we were blissfully naive about what was about to go down, but on the other hand, I KNOW what was about to go down and it makes me nervous just looking at the picture! One of her nurses made the hat for her.
